June 2 (Rest Day - The Bloggering)

I decided to rest here at the motel a second day for a number of reasons: I sorely need to do some laundry. I want to give my knees some rest. There's about a week, hundreds of miles, and no major cities (pop > 1000) left on this Adventure Cycling map. But the deciding factor was this blog. I wanted to start it, but as I was already behind it kept getting harder and harder to get myself to actually put anything down.

So I just sucked it up and wrote all of these blog entries on my phone. That's right, I love you faceless masses that much.

Aside from that, there isn't much else to say ... oh yeah! I read through the entire Book of Genesis in the room Bible. There is some craaaaaazy stuff in that book. Did you know that Abraham and Sarah were half siblings? Or that Abraham let Sarah sleep with two other kings to keep himself safe? Or that, if you have a kid by your wife's slave it counts as hers?

Anyway, that's where I'm at. I'm tired and my thumbs hurt. I hope that was enough photos for you selfish wenches. (You know who you are.) Night everyone.
